Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation
Our Comprehensive Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Evaluation is designed to provide answers about attention, executive functioning, and related learning or behavioral concerns, and to turn those answers into practical recommendations for home, school, and daily life. We follow current best‑practice guidelines, which emphasize using information from interviews, standardized measures, behavioral observations, and collateral reports, and sharing results through both a written report and a feedback session.
First Appointment
Intake Interview and Initial Testing
The process begins with an intake appointment, where we meet with the individual and, for children and teens, their parent or caregiver. We review developmental and educational history, medical background, current symptoms, and your goals for the evaluation. We also start the assessment process itself, focusing on how attention, organization, impulse control, and mood have been functioning across settings such as home, school, and work.
Second Appointment
Second Testing Session
A second testing visit is used to deepen our understanding of attention and executive functioning and to screen for other factors that can look like or occur alongside ADHD, such as learning differences, anxiety, or mood concerns. Throughout the process we gather information from multiple sources so that our conclusions are based on a full picture rather than any single score or observation.
Scoring, Interpretation, and Integration
After all appointments are complete, the psychologist scores and interprets the results and integrates them with interview information, observations, and any prior records.
You then receive a written report that summarizes history, findings, and diagnostic impressions in clear language and offers concrete, individualized recommendations.
Finally, we meet for a feedback session to review the results together, discuss any diagnoses, answer questions, and collaborate on next steps so that you leave with a plan that feels understandable and actionable.
